Employee Spotlight: Jamie Hanson
Meet Jamie Hanson, our Operations Optimization Manager at Red Flame Industries Inc. in Red Deer. Jamie has been a vital part of the Red Flame team for the past ten years and continues to surprise us.
It’s tough to put Jamie’s importance to the team into words, but we’re going to do our best to showcase all that she does to ensure our field staff and clients are accommodated!
What makes Jamie unique is her genuine personality, and her willingness to lend a hand. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is taken care of, and that things are handled professionally and on schedule. Whether it is job-specific, personal, or a general question, she is always there to help out in any way. She is a source of knowledge and information, and why she has taken on the nickname “Mom” to many of our staff.
Over the past decade, Jamie has somewhat become the glue keeping everything together at Red Flame. If you need something from 2013, she knows where to find it; if there are custom projects we’ve built tooling for, she can also track it down.
As a professional, Jamie is the best at what she does and is very dynamic in terms of what she brings to our company. On behalf of all of us at RFI, we couldn’t be more proud to have her as part of our team!
Jamie always goes the extra mile to serve clients and meet their expectations. Most recently, she had an emergency job which required us on site in the field the following day. Jamie was able to bring together field crews, engineering, operations, and shop fabrication work to meet the client’s very rushed timeline. It was not an easy task to undertake, but a much appreciated turnaround for our clients!
When we asked Jamie what it is that keeps her at Red Flame Industries, she said, “Working at Red Flame has provided me with the opportunity to learn from many different groups of people. Engineering, Mechanical Services, or In-Service and Hot Tap project are never the same, and all of these guys have shared their vast knowledge to help me understand our work, each customer, and the vision RFI has for being the best at what we do. There is a great group of core staff who make the work easy, and keep things enjoyable.”
